Am I doing it wrong.....?

I am really enjoying the UKF, but I run into a weird situation at about the 10 minute mark. I have been noticing a huge man power float around this time in a match. I dont build more than one mortar emaplacement, I feel they eat up to much pop cap. I need the pop cap for the eventual panthers. I am kind of lost once I get to this point in the game with UKF.

There are not a lot of videos or other examples of solid British play yet, what should I be doing with man power if I have decided not to dig in?

If all else fails and you have saved enough for the tanks you wanna pull out soon and such, just spend it on what seems prudent atm. More inf can never hurt, right?;)

Build caches.

Either you build Centaur to take his fuel or get VP advantage, in which case the attacking infantry will also take losses (and thus use that MP to be reinforced), or build caches and save for Churchill or Comet.

Guardsman…

I find a spare AT gun is always a good pickup or a extra squad of sappers to help with repairs and capping.

Am I right that there is a big manpower float at this stage for UKF? Or, am I not playing my early game right?
